## http.request

`http.request(url, options?)`

> **Deprecated:** Use net.proxyFetch instead.

Performs an authenticated HTTP request through the server proxy.

**Parameters:**

- `url` (`string`) — Target URL.
- `options?` (`table`) — Method, headers, body, and response encoding.

**Returns:**

- `table` — Status, headers, and decoded response body.
